When I was tasked with doing the creative for Peloton’s first ever prenatal program - I was PUMPED. Not just because I believe it’s something that’s been missing for most fitness platforms, but also because I was pregnant with my second daughter at the time—so I was in the zone. And something that always has bugged me during pregnancy is the overall perception of pregnant women as being weak, fragile creatures that need to be coddled and pampered. We’re only, you know, creating human life—so I think we’re a little bit stronger than that. And that’s where Strong as a Mother came from. I love this work because it forever lives on the Peloton platform as a reminder and helpful tool for pregnant women to step int their power and remember that they can do hard things—the hardest of things, actually. So hell yeah they can work out during pregnancy.
